Client Conduct Policy

As a client of Quintessential Voice Lessons LLC, I understand that I am partially responsible for my progress. Therefore;

  1. I agree to arrive for lessons fit and prepared to fully participate.

  2. I agree to be cooperative in lessons and respectful to my instructor. 

  3. I understand that my ability to establish a practice routine outside of the lesson space will have a direct impact on how quickly I progress. 

  4. I understand that voice lessons have the potential to bring up emotional responses and strong feelings. I acknowledge that my instructor is available and prepared to hold space for these instances but is not a licensed therapist.

  5. I understand that I am to notify my instructor of vocal strain, fatigue, or injury (present or historical) throughout our time working together. I acknowledge that failure to do so could result in personal injury to my voice.

  6. I understand that failure to adhere to these policies may result in lessons being forfeited and/or canceled permanently. 

Scheduling + Attendance Policy

As a client of Quintessential Voice Lessons LLC, I understand that-

  1. I am responsible for ensuring I have a reliable internet connection, working video equipment with a microphone, and an environment that is safe, comfortable, and appropriate for attending an online lesson (minimal background noise, etc.) 

  2. I am responsible for confirming that my scheduled sessions are correct for the time zone I am in, as my instructor may not be in the same time zone as me.

  3. It is my responsibility to arrive on time for my scheduled lesson(s).  I understand that if I am more than 15 minutes late to my lesson, I will be presumed a “no-call no-show”, my lesson will be forfeited, and I will be billed in full per the cancellation policy. 

  4. If I am late to my lesson (but not so late that the lesson is canceled), the lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time.

Cancellation Policy

  1. I am to provide my instructor with a 24 hr notice for any cancellations. 

  2. If I cancel less than 24 hours prior to a scheduled lesson, I will pay a cancellation fee that is equal to 50% of the cost of my lesson. 

  3. If I cancel and/or miss a lesson 3 times within a 3 month period, I may be terminated as a client.

  4. I understand that if I am more than 15 minutes late to my lesson and have not provided my instructor with notification that I am running late I will be presumed a “no-call no-show” and payment for my lesson will be processed in full.

  5. In case of illness that impacts my voice, I will notify my instructor as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling. 

  6. In cases of emergency, rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice will occasionally be possible on a case-by-case basis. I will reach out to my instructor to communicate and discuss opportunities of rescheduling.

Client Age and Recording Consent Policy

As a client of Quintessential Voice Lessons LLC;

1. I confirm that I am:

           A: Over the age of 18 at the time of signing up for my first lesson.


          B: Have the written consent of my guardian or parent who is signing off on this form.

*I understand that failure to confirm will result in immediate termination of any future or  scheduled lessons.* 


2.  I understand that all lessons are recorded. I consent to this recording and acknowledge that the purpose of recording is to serve as an educational tool for myself, the client. I understand that these recordings will not be used, published, or distributed by Quintessential Voice Lessons LLC for any purposes at any time, unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon by both myself and my instructor.
