-J.W. (he/they)
As part of my social transition, I wanted to be able to utilize my voice to affirm my gender identity. The progress I was making was so gradual I didn't even notice I hit my goal! Quinn was recording my voice that showed my range and I felt a type of gender euphoria that I never experienced before. The only words I have that can really describe it is that before I started lessons, the voice in my head felt like bubbles and pink. It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't great. Now it feels like smooth, velvety chocolate. But I can also go back to pink bubbles. It was really the flexibility I was aiming for and Quinn helped me nail it!
